These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Stori Innovations ("we", "us", "our"), the maker of PastePort. By creating an account or using PastePort in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use PastePort.
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
PastePort is a cross-device content transfer utility that lets you share links, text, images and files between your own registered devices in real time. It is available as an Android app, a Chrome browser extension, and a command-line tool.
PastePort is intended for personal use — sharing content between devices that belong to you or people you trust. It is not designed for broadcasting content to arbitrary third parties.
You need an account to use PastePort. When you register:

You retain ownership of anything you send through PastePort. We don't claim any rights to your content.
Because all content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot access, review, or moderate it. You are solely responsible for the content you send and receive through PastePort. We encrypt and relay packets — we don't inspect what's inside them.
Content is automatically deleted from our servers after it expires (7 days on Free, 30 days on Pro). You can also delete all of your content at any time from your account settings.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice.
PastePort offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. Plan features and limits are described on our pricing page and may change from time to time.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases and is responsible for processing payments, issuing invoices, and handling payment-related queries. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
The Free plan is available at no charge and gives you access to core PastePort features with limits on the number of devices and message history length.
The Pro plan is a paid subscription that removes device limits and extends message history. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page.
Because PastePort Pro is a digital subscription service, the following refund terms apply:
We reserve the right to change plan features, limits and pricing with reasonable notice. We'll tell you before any changes that affect your current plan take effect.
We aim to keep PastePort running reliably, but we can't guarantee it will be available 100% of the time. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or things outside our control (like Firebase downtime) may occasionally affect the service.
We're not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.
You can delete your account at any time from within the Android app or Chrome extension settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your account, all device records, and all messages are removed from our servers. You'll receive a confirmation email.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we're shutting down the service. We'll try to give reasonable notice unless the situation requires immediate action (e.g. abuse or illegal activity).
If we ever shut down PastePort entirely, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you have time to export your data.
PastePort is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
You use PastePort at your own risk. We're not responsible for content that is lost, corrupted, or fails to deliver — including due to message expiry, device removal, or app errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stori Innovations and its directors, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of PastePort.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of PastePort will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limitations. If local law applies to you, some of the above may not apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Stori Innovations is incorporated. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use PastePort after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
If you disagree with a change, you can delete your account before it takes effect.
